The world cup competitions of the year 2014 were held in Brazil in the continent of South America which saw Brazil national team being knocked out of the title race. German thrashed Brazil seven goals that left everyone wondering whether Brazil were deem fit to reach even the quarter finals.
As the games proceeded, German and Argentina happened to meet in the finale round with many speculations that most people thought Argentina would beat German. But after a draw at full time and as well at the extra fifteen minutes for both match sides, the game still ended zero zero. This lead to the penalty shoot out that with no doubt left German as the final winners of the world cup 2014.
After the world cup that saw many inventions by the referees of the spray line thing, the idea is now being used in all matches across the world.
